Great News for Chocaholics

A great “new” way to forestall death, but I can’t tell my staff or they will start demanding chocolate breaks.

A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine and summarized at ScientificAmerican.com touts the benefits of chocolate in lowering blood pressure and the risks of a serious cardiovascular disease. It studied individuals over 65 years of age, but you know you are never too young to eat chocolate and start your “treatment”. It does appear, however, by chocolate they are referring to high cocoa content chocolate, not what passes for chocolate here in the US. So, for “treatment” stick to rich Mexican chocolate/cocoa or dark Belgium chocolates.

Sorry, I need to get off the computer; I’m drooling all over the keyboard.
